Wong Halves calculator — fractional tags and true count
Wong Halves assigns half-point tags: 2 and 7 are +0.5, 5 is +1.5, 9 is −0.5, tens and aces −1. Betting correlation is about .99 — as high as any count you would actually use — while playing efficiency stays in Hi-Lo territory (~.56). The system is balanced, so you still convert to true count. Most people keep a doubled count (multiply every tag by two) to avoid halves in their head; Anvil Table stores the canonical halves and will show fractional running counts. If you double in your head, divide the trainer’s RC by two before comparing to a doubled chart, or just trust the on-screen true count. The Halves counting method is $1/month in the trainer; Catch-18 playing indexes are $5/month and include that counter.

Why you would pick Wong Halves over Hi-Lo
Hi-Lo is the integer approximation of Halves. You pick Halves when you want the last few points of betting correlation and can sustain the extra tags.
Maximum betting accuracy among practical systems. The multi-system audience Blackjack Apprenticeship leaves unserved.
Weaknesses
Fatigue errors. A missed +1.5 five is costly. Playing efficiency is not the selling point — Zen or Omega II beat it there with less fraction work.
