Wong Halves Catch-18 — playing indexes
Illustrious 18 is a Hi-Lo list. For Wong Halves we keep those same 18 situations (they still dominate expected-value) and use six-deck floored indexes on the fractional tag set this trainer actually counts. The live overlay in Anvil Table is a $5/month subscription; the counter is included.

Open the trainer with 16 vs 10 on Halves. That requires the Wong Halves deviations plan ($5/month, counter included) or All included ($10). Study this table either way.
How these numbers were chosen
Anvil Table did not re-simulate a 10-million-hand Halves grid. The play list is Schlesinger’s Illustrious 18 because those cells capture most of the gain from indexes. The index values are six-deck, floored true count for canonical fractional Halves (2 and 7 = +0.5, 5 = +1.5, 9 = −0.5) — not doubled Halves. Because Halves and Hi-Lo are both ace-reckoned, many cells match the Hi-Lo Illustrious 18. These differ by a point: 12 vs 3 (+1 vs +2), 10,10 vs 5 (+4 vs +5), 10 vs A (+3 vs +4), 9 vs 7 (+4 vs +3), 16 vs 9 (+4 vs +5), 13 vs 2 (0 vs −1), 12 vs 5 (−1 vs −2), 13 vs 3 (−1 vs −2).
If you keep a doubled Halves count at a table (tags ×2), do not double these indexes. Use the trainer’s on-screen true count, which stays on the fractional scale.
