AKS Anvil Course Lab

Course Lab

Lock course-approved JavaScript snippets, write your own code, run it in a sandbox, and declare what you used. A bounded lab — not an autograder, not a judge, and not open-web Copilot.

Instructors define the in-bounds corpus and lock it. Students insert snippets with attribution comments, write connecting code themselves, and run locally in an isolated iframe. Nothing is sent to a model or a grading service.

Instructor corpus

Add allowed JS snippets (name, license, code). Lock the corpus before students work. JavaScript only.

No snippets yet. Add at least one before locking.

Student editor

Write your JS. Use “Insert snippet” to paste locked code with a // from: Name (License) comment. ⌘/Ctrl+Enter runs code.

Run code to see console.log output here.

Attribution map

Check every locked snippet you used or adapted. The lab warns if your editor contains snippet text without a check, or if GPL-3.0 code sits in an MIT project.
